Massachusetts the Medical Use of Marijuana Program is a state-run program. However, it deals with registering Marijuana Dispensaries (RMD), RMD agents, eligible patients, and caregivers. The program is administered by the Cannabis Control Commission in the state of Massachusetts. Age Limit and Dosage

An individual can only use 1 oz of marijuana at home and keep only 1 oz with you. An adult can only grow 6 plants of marijuana at home (12 plants for two adults or more). Combining Marijuana and Alcohol
Using marijuana and alcohol can have severe harmful effects and can affect you and the people around you. It can cause nausea, impairment, hallucinations, and paranoia. While smoking marijuana, you should first observe your environment. Furthermore, you should not be smoking in front of kids, pregnant women, people with breathing problems, and old people. If keeping marijuana at home, keep it away from children or pets who can mistake it for candy or other edible products. Furthermore, label the product and keep it in the package, high cabinets out of the reach of children.
Requirements
To register for the Medical Use of Marijuana Program you need to first get certified. You will have to ask your medical doctor about applying for the Medical Use of Marijuana Program. If the doctor believes that you have a medical need, you will receive the certification after which you can apply for the program. Afterward, you will receive a PIN from your medical provider to register for the program.
Certain documentation is necessary to apply for the Medical Use of Marijuana Program Online System. Including a PIN, your identification card, and a recently taken photograph of yourself. Remember that, the PIN expires each year, and you will be required to renew it to be able to continue using the program’s benefits. To renew your card, you will need your ID. You can opt for a caregiver if you want assistance with using marijuana. The caregiver will help you use it in a controlled manner. The program is renewed every year.
