Program Overview

The Illinois Homeless Youth Services provides housing services to the homeless youth in the state of Illinois.  The purpose of the Youth Homeless Services program is to help people have permanent housing where they feel safe and secure. Eligibility Requirements

The applicant needs to meet the following requirements to be able to apply for the Illinois Homeless Youth Services,

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Illinois to be eligible for the program
• The candidate must have US citizenship or be a legal alien to receive the benefits of the Illinois Homeless Youth Services
• The applicant is between the ages of 14 to 23 years
• The applicant currently does not have a stable and safe place to live 
• The candidate must have a Social Security Number (SSN)
