HOPE is a support program that stands for Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment, and HOPE helps the eligible candidates or parents in covering the cost of their education or training programs after high school. Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment help through providing the tools and resources in getting a bachelor’s or associate degree or seeking any certified training.

Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment program helps the parents to pay the cost or part of the cost for tuition, books, tools, supplies, transportation, childcare, and other school-related dues in the earning of credentials. HOPE is designed so that any cost of book, supplies, and tools, any bill, lack of transportation, and childcare do not come in anyone’s way to fulfill their dreams.

Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment helps the parent to attend the class and also in accessing student navigators. Student navigators in the Main Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC) aid the student in the provision of encouragement and direct support in meeting the challenges in various ways. The MEOC’s student navigators are enabled to create a schedule for the students to achieve their goals and meet their objectives. The Main Educational Opportunity Center’s designed student navigators are capable of guiding the student in understanding the deadlines, fees, and in finding a support program, including the application for aid, etc.

The candidates eligible for the Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment program include the parents or any relative who is the caretaker of minor children having certain income guidelines. A parent who is taking care of a minor child who needs assistance in fees of school, course books, tools, tuition, and other expenses of transportation and child care. The eligibility criteria to apply for HOPE include mainly the enlisted points.

For a parent who is accepted for admission or is already enrolled in any certificate program or a college or university, Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) is the source to complete their goals.

The parent pursuing higher school studies or is seeking admission must be a resident of Georgia or a permanent US resident.

The student must be a legal US citizen or an eligible non-citizen to get the grant of the Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) Scholarship.

A student who graduated with a GPA of 3 or more is eligible for Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment program.

The parent must not be in default or owe a repayment on any federal or state aid. The applicant must be compliant with Georgia Drug-Free Post-Secondary Education Act 1990. To remain eligible, the student must maintain satisfactory or good academic progress.

The parent meeting all these basic criteria would be eligible to get the Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) Scholarship for achieving the credentials with some financial aid and through ease and guidance.

Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) is helping a lot of the Maine population in pursuing their education and training to attain their career plans by helping them to cross the hurdles in their success. To apply for the Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) Scholarship, a student needs to fulfill some of the essential requirements such as: completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year, completing the Georgia Scholarship/Grant Application (GSFAPPS) form at gafuture.org that is valid for seven years.

Both the applications must be completed and filed, and one application must be filed by the last of a semester so that the scholarship for that semester is received easily.

If a student has an enrollment as a transient student in another HOPE eligible institute, another HOPE Scholarship may also be received through the OSFA webpage.

The grant that is awarded for the Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) Scholarship is estimated to be $7,680 maximum for two semesters (for 2020 to 2021) when the student has enrolled in 25 HOPE eligible credits per term.

The students who are enrolled in programs having eligible hours fewer than fifteen get lesser payment accordingly.

Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) pays scholarships according to the credit tuition hours additional to the maximum amount (i.e., $7,680) to the students who are having summer semester enrolments.

Students are evaluated during their Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment Scholarship program through different checking points in their academic career to must have a CGPA of 3.0. If the evaluation results in findings that the student has not achieved the marked CGPA, the scholarship is canceled.
