Massachusetts Home Care Program

The Massachusetts Home Care Program is a state-wide program and is administered by the Aging Services Access Points (ASAPs) at the regional level in Massachusetts. The program is available to the elders in the community and provides support so that they can live independently at their house. Through this program, the aging adults in the state of Massachusetts are given assistance to stay in their homes and are respectful without the stress of moving to a nursing home. The program also checks how difficult it is for these elders to carry out daily routine tasks including dressing, cooking eating. The Massachusetts Home Care Program aims to help senior citizens and disabled people of the state by providing them with various non-medical services. The fee for the Massachusetts Home Care Program varies according to the in-home services provided as well as the income level of the applicant. The household with one member and a monthly income of $28,865 and two members with a monthly income of $40,842 are eligible to apply for the Home Care Program in the state of Massachusetts.
